Note that the 2026 meeeting in Powys has been cancelled as they no longer take group bookings.

Due to poor tak up (only 9 pitches sold) I have handed unwanted spaces back to the campsite. Any late bookings should be with Diglea on 01485-541367.

Others will know better than me, but to interpret the coded hold light sequences on a post-99 Bongo you need to attach an OBD-11 scanner to the ECU. But I would guess that you will end up with a fault code of PO700 which means the gear box solenoids are failing.

But check the leisure battery issues ...

To establish whether your Bongo is pre or post 99, let us know the 6 digits after SGL5. This will be the full chassis number and we can determine the manufacture date.

Bobby did a tremendous job at the Bash (and at Wallingford) and has been awared Bongonaut of the Year for 2025. There are no photos of the presentation because Geoff overslept!

Many thanks to everyone whio made a donation at the Bongo Bash to this year’s nominated charity, the International Committe for the Red Cross who are doing a fantastic job in the major trouble spots of the world.

As I mentioned at the Bash AGM, I was having trouble with my eyesite. Upon return to Sheffield I saw my optician who made nan emergency referral to the eye hospital.......detached retina! Summer Camp 2025 North Norfolk 7th to 10th August

Bookings are now being taken for this event which will be held at Diglea Caravan Park, Snettisham, nr Kings Lynn. It starts on Thursday 7th August and finishes on Sunday 10th August. The cost is £26 per night including hook-up. Booking is via the Bongo Fury office on 0114-2550836.
