Re: Abs sensor alternative
Just jumping on this
I've got the bolt out and would like to pull the sensor out undamaged. Any idea how? Seems like the bracket (shaped like an egg/teardrop) is fused on!
Thanks

Re: Roof electric question
Thanks. I actually still have the old bongo which has a cracked open gearbox and generally dead. But it's electrics were untouched. I'm trying to compare them but I just can't.

Door handles
You know the pocket ones on either side. How do they com out? I've taken the screw out at the bottom but they still won't budge? Is there a back? Am I going to have to take off the whole door card?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Roof electric question
Ok. That makes sense. I just wondered if there was some standard by pass people do.
Any good Bongo electricians in East Kent??

Roof electric question
I'm on Bongo number 2, so I know a few things.
The new bongo roof only goes up with engine off.
It bleeps but no flashy light. I think someone has by passed the normal electrics so they can move it up and down without the engine on.
How can I put this right? I don't want dodgy electrics.
Thanks

Re: Original parking sensors help
Anyone?
I held the button down and it gave me options. 0, 1, 2 - I think maybe sensitivity settings.

Cabin fabric
Odd one here. The fabric on the interior cabin roof has detached over the drivers seat. It's like a bubble of fabric, bit still attached at the edges. It was like it when I bought it. There's still head room to drive, so not so much a problem just something to sort. Not sure how it's happened. No ...

Parking sensor
Hi. I have factory fitted original sensors, one at front, four at rear with the 2 internal displays front and rear.
But the front sensor has a VW Germany stamp on it, so guessing it's been replaced at some point.
Does anyone know what sensors are compatible with the OG spec cables?

Re: No glow plug light
Thanks. All fixed. Bulb had been removed. Obviously to cover up a flashing glow light. This to then cleared by itself but has now come back due to some DIy wiring to run the interior bits off the main battery with no key in ignition. Something I plan to reverse but will start a new thread!

Re: No glow plug light
When you say lamp, do you mean the bulb and it's housing behind the display?
Thanks

Re: No glow plug light
Thanks. Will give that a go. The light doesn't come on at all - even if you give it time.

No glow plug light
Hi all
No glow plug light but diesel starts like a dream? Is it just the bulb in the dash that's gone? How do I fix.
Thanks
