Strip drivers door.
Anyone found a decent “how to” for stripping the door far enough to replace the quarter window on a driver’s door. Nothing much turning up when I google it.

Re: Quarter light glass
Cheers. Do you know how much you have to strip out to get a new piece in there?
Are you able to message me the better way for next time?

Quarter light glass
Managed to lock myself out of the bongo miles away from home with no accessible tools, key in ignition, radio playing and phone sat on the dash!! Tried to cut out the drivers quarterlight but obviously it shattered into a million pieces so now need to replace it and the rubber trim. Anyone got a how...

Bypassing rear heater
Will be flushing the coolant on the bongo soon (2.5 v6 petrol). May take the opportunity to loop out the rear heater as it is no use since the conversion. What’s the simplest way/place to loop it out. No immediate plans to mess with the Aircon so will not be able to remove the rear heater completely...

Spoiler brake light fix.
Ive got a yr2000 bongo with a spoiler incorporating the high level brake light. Several of the lamps are off or dim. Looks like the unit is totally sealed. Has anyone managed to get one apart without it smashing to pieces? Tried the trusty blade down the gap truck but no joy.

Re: Solar Charge Controller
Sorry to jump on your post but do you know the make/model and output of your solar panel? My van is currently at the storage location so I can't measure teh roof and it looks like yours is the widest that will fit so a good start point.

Carpet and b-pillar cover
Hi, just got hold of a yr2000. Bongo and need a couple of cosmetic bits. Grey carpet for driver seat hump. Mine has been badly hacked away during a previous conversion. Grey lower driver’s side cover for b-pillar. A high level grab rail -grey. What’s anyone got available? Ideally somewhere near Flee...

Remote learning mode
I have one slightly dodgy remote key. Pretty sure it’s a real Mazda one. It will occasionally work but is held together with tape and hope so looking to get a replacement. I did the same in my mx5 which shares the same “learning mode” process dance of ignition and door switch. I’ve tried the process...
