Evening all,
A low starter battery voltage had happened recently and the auto electrician we took it to (who not long ago installed the alarm/immobiliser and swap loom) tested the alternator and said this was faulty and was the cause of the batteries being low on charge...he replaced the alternator ...

Looking to find out what the part I need to get fitted that allows the electrics in the car to run without the engine or ignition on...I believe it may be called an "electrical bypass kit" or something similar.

Yes, exhaust manifold/turbo cover, thats the one. I've ordered a replacement one as the van we've not long had was missing it and the spare part doesn't come with any bolts.

Dont suppose anyone knows what size the 3 or more bolts are that hold the turbo heat shield on are?
