Re: Air Con - No Fans - Green Light On

Small update, when the pressure switch is removed (from the cannister at the front RHS) and one of the pins is grounded (or the pins of the connector bridged) the system fires up but does not get cold.

I was always under the impression that the pressure switch disabled the compressor
clutch when ...

Re: Welsh Bongo Bash 18 to 20 May

Arrived from Essex 13:30, good trip. Weather here is fantastic, pitches are dry and comfortable, and the views are pleasant. I hope it continues for the rest of thw week.

Re: Santa Pod

No Pink Lady Funny Car this time out, she's still poorly :(
Back next year hopefully.

BongoTerry will be disapointed that "Pink Lady" won't be there.

Unfortunately, Terry went into hospital for an emergency operation
yesterday, we phoned this morning and it's possible he might be out
by Friday ...

Re: Bitterly Disappointing.

We have been to many meets over the last 7-8 years, some meets are better than others, BUT this one was strange because of the mixture of Bongos' and other campers. It was difficult to notice a newbee Bongo person, we are pleased to say that we are returning to a friendly site at Kings Lynn next ...

Re: Temp Gauge on Max

No, have modified the temp gauge with the resistor to make it more sensitive, has been working fine for 18 months

First thing to look for is a short circuit to ground on the sensor cable. The Mazda gauge itself is normally very reliable. If you can't find a short then try disconnecting the sensor ...

Re: Speedo conversion V6

I want to convert the white faced clocks on my V6 to MPH. Has anyone bought the replacement white MPH clocks from Ebay for £45? They appear to be the only option other than wiring in a chip, which is better?

Have bought a couple of sets recently direct from Visual Performance . The ones from Ebay ...

Re: So who is booked for the Scottish Bash?

We'll be stocking up on haggis reserves, I know it's not haggis-hunting season at the moment but we don't care :D

We are leaving on Saturday for a few days at Woody's place in Corpach and then on to Fife next Thursday.

If you don't mind a bit of road-kill we will try and scoop up a few haggis ...

Re: An experience installing rear-view cameras ...

Hi Pat n Ben
Did you get your screen? Does it do the job and how was it to fit?

Yes I did a couple of weeks ago from chinavasion.com.

The 9 inch screen is a lot better than I expected, I removed the old visor,
dropped the courtesy light panel. fitted the new visor and pulled the cables
into the ...

Re: An experience installing rear-view cameras ...

Looks good but I already have a ( bigger but also hideable!) DVD which suits our needs ,so all I need is the screen bit .Any ides for something cheap?

I have ordered a sun visor screen from China with 9 inch screen for the rear view camera.

Re: Engine Undertray

I have 3 Bongos, one has always had a tray fitted, one was bought without a tray and
one had the tray removed to fit new hoses and made it easier to check for leaks and
was never replaced.

The only difference I know of over the past couple of years is that the one with the
tray fitted reduces the ...

Thanks YBB, if you say so that's good enough for me.

Have ordered one and will fit it some time next week.
