Re: More Hold Light Issues!
Thanks for the replies gents. As you say Geoff, code 25 does exist, but isn't related to the Auto Transmission Control Module, its a fault that i would expect to see from the ECU, so I ruled it out as spurious. I did a search for the corresponding OBDII protocol codes (P0025 & P0027), but no luc...

More Hold Light Issues!
Hi All, My Bongo has been laid up for a few months while I've been tackling some welding (inner and outer sills) to get her through her MOT. I managed to get all that done, batteries charged back up and she started first turn of the key! However, as soon as I got going to the test centre, the dreade...

Re: Van-X Wheel Arch Trims on a face-lift model
Front sections on: https://i.ibb.co/hck4mmD/IMG-20200403-165210.jpg They need clamping to get them to conform to the bumper shape while the tigerseal goes off. You need to take off the inner arch liners to be able to clamp to anything, but a fairly easy job. I forgot to mention that I had to trim th...

Re: Show us yer insides
Not bad eh? We are blessed to have that view of the Ennerdale Valley right from our back yard. Living in West Cumbria does have it's benefits.

Re: Show us yer insides
Some lovely conversions in here. Here's mine, which I've just completed, I wanted a rear Pod that I could use to cook from outside under the tailgate, and that was easily removable if I want to use the Bongo as a van. It's from Evo designs and is actually designed to fit a VW T5/T6 with a 3/4 bed an...

Re: Van-X Wheel Arch Trims on a face-lift model
That's essentially what I've used them for. They are riveted to the underside lip of the arch (see pic below), but in order to get them to fit snug to the bodywork you'll need to bond them too. I've used Tigerseal to bond to the bodywork, I believe it is possible to remove Tigerseal, but it won't be...

Re: Van-X Wheel Arch Trims on a face-lift model
So I'm thinking no-one has tried it. So for people's future reference, here's an update: After studying photos of the arch trims and the pre and post face-lift Bongos, I concluded that the only major difference that could make these things not fit, is with the front bumper. So I went ahead and purch...

Van-X Wheel Arch Trims on a face-lift model
Hi all, I've recently acquired a 2001 2.5td tin top with the Aero Kit fitted. The arches are starting to look a bit tatty, so I've been looking at my options. My preffered option for now is to treat any rust that's there best I can and fit some arch trims (pending a full refurb sometime further down...
