I dont have enough time to locate and fit a new one before tomorrows mot,,, and after calming down and a little prayer i...

Re: "Fridge" dilemma in unconverted bongo

We have the same coolbox from aldi, solar or electric is a must when running it, we run ours off 220w solar, panels the noise is easy to forget [like your laptop or pc], the fan noise just blends in, we could not live with out ours, having a 4 month and 2 year old plus keeps my insulin cold When we ...

Cut the strap from the outside and try pulling from the inside [should be half the thickness when cut]

Good luck

Re: Screw holes in van floor

If it is just screw holes you want to cover and all the carpets/flamables are out the way, now would be the time to welding, probabley best option too imo, grind the holes to bare metal and each hole will take 2-3 seconds to fill [if your doing it yourself be careful as i think its 0.8-1mm thick ste...

Re: Daniel William: Legit buyer or scammer?

As mikeonb4c said,
If it was me, definitely NOT worth the hassle, could go so wrong . If its a nice van there will be plenty of legit buyers who want to love your bongo as much as you did/do and pay a fair price

Could be wrong, but too many red flags, stay clear

kind regards

Re: Wanted bongo, i want to buy

Sounds like you prefer mx bikes? Maybe your kids will want to follow in your tracks. We've used Bongos for this purpose for years and find we can carry 2 kids bikes plus 5 people reasonably easily. Even now we can still manage a full size adult bike, a big wheel 85 (the largest kids size bike you c...

Re: Wanted bongo, i want to buy

Is it so that the 2.0L is the most reliable, it will be my wifes daily with 2 young kids, we wanted v6 but were told £1000+ for cam, pump and seals but only about £250 for the 2.0L and diesel. v6 alternator £270 new, hard to find a recon and £40 for diesel and 2.0L recon alt, easy to get and so on.....
