Re: No heat coming out rear!

Not on our 2000 year model, the rear can be switched on from in the rear or the front

It's the same on mine can be switched on from the rear.

Trevor is right many full conversions have no heat/aircon in the rear because it is removed to create room for water tanks.

Re: Using the Bongo Occasionaly

Our Bongo was not driven for over a year, not by choice but because it could not be registered until converted to a camper. I did start it periodically mainly to use the aircon, that was almost two years ago and havn’t noticed, as yet, any problems.

It often stands for a month or so without being ...

Hi Richdee,

I have not personally used this garage but I'm sure I've seen it recommended on this forum. A.L. Motors, Rayne, Braintree, phone 01376 348305. Hope this helps.

Hers a smart alec answer:

Count the spark plugs!

Sorry couldn't resist that one

More seriously, I have only today heard of a member of the forum with a 2.0 petrol, Powerslide from Cyprus.

Niel of the fabulous home conversion also has an Aero, but I think it may be a 2.5 V6.

Hi Justin,

I'm not an expert when it comes to wiring matters but the Top Wiring Connector, with the red/black, red/black wires, is the connector I used for my rear fog light. It is switched live with the lights switch and in my case needed a fuse in the fuse box under the bonnet. From memory marked ...

Hi Faff,

Will appreciate hearing how you get on with this. I've got loads to do on mine before it will be on the road. I'm taking this week off to try and get it finished so hoping the weather is not too bad!

Thanks again Trevor. I think it best I email this company to ensure they will fit before I order. Must say they do look different.

Hi Faff,

Not too sure whether the fuel guage will fit so I will email the company to confirm this before ordering. Certainly like the white dials and they seem an easy option to fit? Not had much experience of this so should you receive and fit your's first will be interested to know.

Thanks Trevd0. I have since found out (After reading the white dial post) the dial changed for models since 1997/8, so you are right there is no change for new shape.

Hi Faff, You have answered my query posted earlier today . I wanted to know whether the speedo conversion dial is a one fit all for all Bongos. It seems, according to the web site you posted, that this is not the case, so I will be ordering a set of white dials. So like you I would appreciate any ...

Speedo dial conversion

Can anyone please confirm whether the new shape Bongo, will accept the conventional speedo dial conversion, which is available from most suppliers. Having read a previous excellent post from grumpo, who advised not to have it chipped, I'm looking for the dial conversion.

Thanks guys for such an ...
