Quick question folks.... I want to remove the decals on my van. They're not in awful condition - in fact, they're not bad, give the age of the vehicle (I'm pretty sure they're original) Do those "Toffee Wheel" attachments last long, or do they wear down quite quickly?
Update. Despite the damp weather, I managed to get my wheels done this weekend. A good wire-brushing before painting did remove quite a bit more of the ground-in brake dust and general muck But there was still quite a bit left on the surface, that even the wire brush, and several applications of ...
I used this one - https://www.hammerite.co.uk/product/direct-to-rust-metal-paint-aerosol-smooth-finish/
Thanks for your replies and thoughts folks :D I hadn't really thought about trims yet - that's something I will consider jimmo62 - thanks for posting that link - that's the sort of option I ...
I used Hammerite Smooth spray after wire brushing and it's been on for 5 years now.
Cheers for that Jimmo62. Was it a Hammerite specifically made for painting steel, do you know? I've seen a few brands of wheel paint out there, but they don't always state whether they're for Alloy or steel ...
Sorry if this has been asked before - but I couldn't see it on here anywhere... My Bongo has the standard Mazda steel wheels - and they're rather filthy looking. I tried some special wheel cleaner spray, and a lot of elbow grease, but it didn't work well at all.
I'd be interested to hear what replies you get to this question. I've been intending to get a tow ball fitted to my Bongo (not really for towing - but for protection against being rear-ended, which happened to me last year).
Also interested in which types are prone to cause corrosion on the cross ...
Here's an additional 2 Life members. Gabby Early (guitar, vocals) and Marc Smith (bass, tapping foot) are Bongo owning members of top Cardiff teenage rocking combo "Pub Fiction". Regulars at various Bongo events over the last few years, the club could not afford to pay them for their recent beach ...
Just wanted to say, I really enjoyed the Welsh Bongo bash last weekend Thanks ever so much for organising this one Ian :D But will we have to wait 2 years for the next one? Hope there's another meet next year. Great time to be in St.David's - as it's not madly busy Cracking site too - loved it ...
Thanks for posting the link to that cookbook - I think I'll add that to my list for Santa Just wanted to say to the OP, and in general anyway... I bought one of those odd looking little toaster devices, for toasting on a gas ring Must say, for about £4 on eBay, it was a great purchase :D
