No they did not show me the old head as I did not have time to go down to the Garage as I was working through the holidays and did not get back to the garage until after the new year.
You put your trust in people to do a good job but there is always one that will con you I have been down to garage ...

I have now found a garage that works on Bongos so I will be taken it to get it sorted.
I am driving it every day to work and back with out thermostat it is only about 30 miles there and back.
The temp gauge does not move very little heat in cab.
I should have looked into things more before putting ...

Thanks all.
there was no Thermostat in bongo when I purchased in May 2016
New Radiator fitted 2016
End November I changed Hoses,Water Pump & Thermostat Bleed system, Heaters and temp gauge all worked fine took it for a run the coolant was gushing out off the header tank.
Stripped all down again ...

back pressure is very excessive
Garage says he just cannot work out why so he has left thermostat out hoping to pick bongo up friday

1995 2.5td
When checking my bongo ready for the winter I found there was no thermostat or antifreeze,
I changed rubber hoses,water pump put a genuine thermostat in bleed the system but was getting back pressure through header tank in the end the head went,
Put it in garage bought a complete cylinder ...

System Bleed

Thanks CMM303 for the thread on removing rear heater unit it worked a treat unit now out air con pipes welded and tested water pipes fitted with blanking kit thank you very much.

Just to let every body know I got my rear shocker bracket sorted took it to a Engineering Company they built bracket up and re-threaded now all is ok.

I have found out you can not buy rear shocker brackets you have to buy full number 5 rear cross member which has rear shocker hanging brackets welded to it.

I have checked lushprojects.com they show the nut & washers but not the upper hanger its looking like I might have to get one made.

rear heater unit + upper brake light

Is it possible to take the rear heater unit out as it will never be used when my new side units go in also it would be less pipe work to look after.

I have tested the led lights they are ok
checked about 12 inches of cable that comes through the rear of roof no breaks any ideas.

I have been incontact with AMAYAMA SINGAPORE PTE LTD and they can not find this part in there catalogue looks like I am going to have to get part made.

Does any body know the part number for the Top hanger for the rear shocker I have been in touch with bongospares waiting for reply
If I had part number I could contact Amayama Singapore for a price.
