Hi guys - quick question about paint ...

I just had some welding work done on the rear sills.
Does anyone know what colour / type of spray paint I need for covering some spots on the grey / silver trim that runs along both sides low down?

Either from the club shop, or elsewhere?
I have a Halfords ...

Problem solved for now.

I think it would fail the MOT now, under the new rules, if I blanked off the EGR ??
(new MOT rules from May 2018)

Hi guys,

I took my 95 Diesel Bongo into the garage yesterday after experiencing cold start problems.

The garage identified that there is a crack in one of the metal pipes leading from the EGR valve to the manifold.
By doing a smoke test gases were seen to be leaking significantly from the cracked ...

I managed to fit the new mirror yesterday. It was more straightforward than I thought.

The black gue did seperate and go back together without too much fuss.

New mirror working great,

I got round to investigating the rear wiper issue today, and sure enough, the wires had broken in the loom where they run from the door into the van.

Repaired it and now working again.

I tried re-setting the mirror yesterday, and thought I had succeeded on the second attempt - no grating sound, but I did hear what I thought was the gear clicking backing into place.
Sure enough the mirror did then fold back in when pressing the switch on the dash, but ...

It happened once before randomly, and I had a look at it from outside and it started working again after gently moving it a bit. So I though it had just gotten stuck weidly that one time.

After hunting around numerous curtain shops, fabric shops and hardware stores, and trying many different types of glider and hooks, I have now found a glider that fits the rail !!

Now to cut some curtains to the right size!
