Doesn't sound desirable! I currently have a Skyteam Bongo Monkeybike which weighs 68KG, only catch is it won't take a pillion. Most racks look to be at least 30KG though, so yeah, still over the limit.
There appears to be the Easy Lifter Hydra Trail that'd work, tad pricey at £1195! Don't really ...

Re: Anyone fitted a Motorcycle rack?
Hmmm, the MSX is over that at 100KG. Not massively so. I'd pop it in the back but that tends to have the other camping stuff in there!
Is the 85KG nose weight to offset the van being pulled down too heavily at the back?

Anyone fitted a Motorcycle rack?
Getting to grips with my Bongo now, but miss my motor bike when I'm away!
I'm thinking of getting a Scooter Rack to fasten in place of the tow ball (we'll never tow anything!) but wondered if anyone had any experience to share.
For the uninitiated it's something like this...

Re: Where to get spare immobiliser fob...
Thanks for the replies,
I fear you're right, replacement or removal probably are the route to success here. Now I know it's not a factory fitted one, I took the fob to pieces to look for any clues...

Not a lot to go on there! There is some etchings on the chip ...

Where to get spare immobiliser fob...
First let me tell you a story :)
Yesterday, my lovely wife offered to help a friend by picking up a washing machine from her house to take to someone else. You know, now we have a van to help do these things. We get to the house to go pick up said washing machine, she steps out of the Bongo, goes ...

Re: Roof wont raise
Not an expert on this, but I think these are the two microswitches in the runners. With the roof up, look at the top from underneath and you can see them there towards the front of the Bongo. They're mentioned in the fact sheet linked too BTW.
I think the one on the drivers side is the roof down ...

Re: Roof troubles!
OK, update on this...!
Got new box, plugged it in, made no difference to the operation, well until we then wanted to go for a drive. As soon as you let the handbrake off... Beep! Beep! Beep!
So this one has a working beeper!
"Hang on" I think "Those little microswitches control the beeping thing ...

Re: Roof troubles!
Thanks Geoff, that's really helpful!
We are pretty sure the up signal is making it to the box, the resistance drops across the switch when operated and we've got continuity between the roof switch connector and the control box plug.
So I'll take a punt on a replacement control box, worse case ...

Roof troubles!
Hello, my first post here and I get to make one about a roof that won't go up! Grrrrrr!
Background first, bought the Bongo privately from a nice chap in Mansfield. Roof worked with no trouble (tested it before handing over the brass!). Had a weekend away in Masham, still no trouble.
