Re: Overheating Issue

What temperature would be "too high" to run on?

This is for a petrol V6.

Alarm currently set at 92 but I am told that is too low for the alarm.

Re: Fuel Pump? Fuel Filter? Battery???

The age of the vehicle isn't really relevant, it's the length of time the fuel is storred in the tank that counts:

Thanks Bob, interesting read.

I don't keep the tank half full, I ...

Re: Fuel Pump? Fuel Filter? Battery???

leaving the electrical issues battery/ignition, you run mostly on LPG.
How old is the petrol/ how much in tank?
modern petrols do not like hanging around unused and may be difficult to start.
probably just another question and not part of this solution

When the van is running well I try to run ...

Re: Fuel Pump? Fuel Filter? Battery???

Took it to garage, the said they can't identify the fault but it doesn't seem like fuel filter. They said they tried to diagnose it through the computer but could get the right connection. Surely if there was a fault there would be a light on the dash board?

Typically is now running well so not ...

Have you checked them earth straps , there's one from engine to chassi

Yeah, on Friday morning after the initial problems on Thursday evening it did appear to be running fine on petrol and LPG. I would say the first few revs on LPG were a bit ...

Re: Fuel Pump? Fuel Filter? Battery???

It started but then immediately cut out.

Then when we tried again it would start but struggle to pull off further than 3-5 metres. Dash lights came on. It was then turning over but just not starting.

My dad used jump leads.

We got the van switched over to LPG and it ran for maybe 20 metres but ...

Were meant to be going away tomorrow for the weekend so took the van out to keep her ticking over and put in petrol and LPG. As soon as we filled up both and pulled away the van struggled to start and kept ...

Re: mushroom roof leaking

On searching back through old posts this seemed perfect for my predicament.

I have a leak at the drivers back left corner, I believe I've identified where the water is coming in as there is one part of the sealant that appears lose, I'll try to add photos.

I spoke to phil by phone and email and ...

Have you considered JAL in the midlands?

They do various types of roof and come recommend by everyone I've discussed them with.
