Hi
Just got back from 12 days in France/Belgium/Luxemboug/Germany/Switzland/Austria/Germany/Holand/Belgium/France
We took a 3.7kg red cylinder and had no problems - lasted the whole trip. We have a heater which uses a lot more gas than the hob. also cooked each morning and every evening - using ...

Re: Reversing camera - ground connection?
From memory! And it's about 5 years
Used the seatbelt bolt. It's huge and welded directly into the chassis.
Theirs one low down near the light cluster. With care can pull back the trim and hide the wires behind

Hello
If you have a look at the main page
Click on conversions. Igmaynard.co.uk/conversions/
If you the go down the page to
Either budget bongos

Re: Small Solar Panel
Perhaps - if you had the money and you could buy once then the best would be good - so large panel and MPPT control box
OR
you could buy what you can afford and then upgrade to another panel later.

Re: leisure battery..
Go outside have changed their leisure battery clarification
Last year's battery is now classed as a "C" category battery.
70 cycles. With only light occasional use.
Price the same around £70
(Which gives some insight into why the battery is struggling after 1 year)
Their "B" battery is £130

Yes I tend to agree. regarding 11.9v being discharged.
On the internet 11.9v seems to be accepted as 80% discharged and the lower end. With 10.9 being flat.
However go outside - declined to accept the battery was faulty.
Also when you look into the warranty it is some-what limited

Re: leisure battery..
I had a go outside battery last year.
Looked after it all year. Keeping it charged.
One time charge dropped to 11.9v battery.
Battery damaged and only takes 75% charge.
So would try a different make. I will next time.
Bought a solar panel to help.

broken rear shock? how can I tell and which is the best one
Bongo has developed a nod.
on stopping seems to keep moving.
On pushing down on the van at each corner the rear passenger side seems the worst. moving more than the other corners
So my question has my rear shock gone?
Which one is the current best to replace with with?
happy to keep it as ...

Having got euro LV breakdown cover for my 19 year old van. i am reassured that the worst the worst will be finishing the holiday on the back of a truck and using one of the bongo friendly Southampton garages.
As has been said a service by a bongo garage will be great reassurance.
