Rev counter stops working so stuck in high revs

Hi All

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I have a P reg Bongo

When I first drive it after a couple of minutes my rev counter stops working and it feels like the bongo gets stuck in a high gear for about 5 minutes.

Re: Bongo coolant alarm fitting

As long as it comes with instructions, any competent garage should be able to fit it. I'm always a bit concerned about some of the cheaper offerings, so be careful out there. Bongo coolant alarm fitting

Hi

I bought one of the £20 coolant alarms from eBay but now I need someone to fit it for me.

I live in Bracklesham Bay near Chichester.

Would anybody be able to recommend someone who's not expensive?

Thank you!

Hold light flashing called a garage they say gear box??

Hi thank you for looking at this post.
I've just bought a 97 bongo from a nice couple but as I was driving it home there was a light on the dashboard flashing HOLD.
I've just called a recommended garage and they say gearbox which could cost me more than I paid for the van!
Is this true? As I'm now ...
