Re: Any pop top Bongoers in or around Buckingham?

Hi Matt,

Been waiting to see if you get any replies near you, I'm near J11 on M25, with an AFT roof.
Not really near but just in case you're travelling along that route.

Re: Off to Scotland

Thanks Tootsmcfruits for your great suggestions and the additional photos from Muz. All helping me to plan my trip. Re the dreaded Midges, I have made lots of enquiries and the outcome seems to be that they are unavoidable, so I will be resorting to the strongest repellent I can find. Keep suggestio...

Re: Off to Scotland

Thanks Muz and Bob for your suggestions. My plans for the trip are to stay as long as I need to see as much as I can. Once I'm there I figure I need to do ias much as possible. Skye is definitely high on the list and I already have Lindisfarne pencilled in for on the way back down. At present my pla...

Off to Scotland

After leaving the Bongo Bash this June I am intending to make my way up to Scotland and explore as much as possible of that beautiful Country. I wondered if any of our Scottish members and others that have also visited can suggest any 'not to be missed' places and sights. Thanking you in anticipatio...

Re: Mattress for side conversion query

I've got exactly the same set up, apart from a raising roof.
I bought a thin memory foam mattress from Dunelm, about 1" thick, this help soften out the lumps and bumps in the flattened out seats, and it folds quite small for storing during the day.

Re: Mazda hub caps

Can you post a photo of the hub cap you need.
I have 3 of the cap with the mazda symbol in the centre.

Lost one and bought a set of 4 off another member.

I'll be at St. David's and Bongo Bash if that's any help, otherwise I'm in Surrey, junction 11 of M25.

Don't know if this is a how long is a piece of string question, but how much would I expect to be quoted for a cambelt change?

Re: Camping clubs?

I don't belong to any of the Clubs, but use UKCampsites.co.uk if I'm wanting to book a site.

Their website is very good and easy to search for any area you are looking for.Good reviews on each site as well.

They haven't let me down yet.

Re: Newbie - Advice please

Welcome Soso.

Can't help with any of your mechanical queries, just rely on a Garage to look after mine, but wanted to say hello.

Looking forward to seeing you at a Meet sometime.

regards Marion.

Re: What do I need to do on my new Bongo

Welcome and get ready to enjoy.

You will get lots of replies to your question, but the most important edition is a low coolant alarm if one isn't already fitted.
Lots of conversations on the forum regarding them.
