I'm having quite a dilema looking at awnings. My choice has been narrowed down to an Easy Camp Daytona or a Cayman Snapper.
I've read the Daytona reviews and watched the vids and it seems basically perfect apart from the tunnel flapping and a few other silly little things. I can't really find ...

Front Propshaft (Rear) Universal Joint
Hi all, had a bit of an issue with a grinding sound, thought it was the exhaust changed that and it's still there. From my landy days it seems like a dry prop UJ.
Have fitted a good few of these so know what I'm doing regarding this.
Only issue is the best way to remove propshaft. It's the rear UJ ...

Re: Exhaust Question
Managed to get this done yesterday and it went not too bad :-/
Took the old exhaust off from the turbo and was going to cut it at the bend where it goes up and over the chassis but luckily it had sheared off there anyway (I say luck...)
Had to cut the flap valve out and it was stuck open, not a ...

Re: Exhaust Question
Thanks for the diagrams, got the old exhaust off today but can't fit the new one til I get new bolts for the valve and down pipe bracket. I'm guessing I can just use an exhaust clamp for the front pipe to the gearbox?
Was a wee bit of a horrible job, bolts holding downpipe to turbo were TIGHT ...

Re: Exhaust Question
Just went with the 4 piece system. Am I right in saying that the exhaust is split at the valve (Front 2 pipes split from centre section & backbox?
If the nuts are seized at the valve can I just grind them off?
Got all new bolts, gasketsa & hangers from Regis

Exhaust Question
Hi all, well after 16 years the exhaust on the Bongo has finally decided to give up.
I know I should be buying stainless but the difference is about £100 and frankly I'm too skint to justify the other £100. The exhaust I'm looking at comes with a 2 year warranty so that will do til I can afford ...

We're still up for this. Should be down before 9pm if that's ok, can't leave til about 6pm due to work and will take us the best part of 1.5 hours to get there. There will be something that needs done though so will be closer to 9

Re: Leisure battery kit
I made my own split charge setup as I wanted to tailor it to my needs.
I used a 100amp relay, 100 amp cables and a 70 amp fuse based on the things I was reading on here.
This splits the batteries and the relay is controlled by an ignition live and earthed to the second battery as the relay is ...

Re: Grinding From Front End
I've had wheels balanced and that helped a bit. The wheels on the car are alloys, I don't have a clue what they came off but measuring the diameters there is approx a 3mm gap. Popped into my local car place and we tried different rings in the wheels until we found one that fit but they didn't have ...

Grinding From Front End
Hi guys, having a bit of an issue with a very faint grinding noise coming from the bongo. After about 2-3 miles of driving approx 50mph when I come off the throttle or lightly hold my foot on the pedal (Enough to be slowing down but still applying minimal power) there is a very faint grinding noise ...

Re: My DIY Conversion
It is removable but probably not very quickly, don't really intend to take it out for anything though so hopefully it won't have to come out too often
