Re: Flashing glow plug light after hill climb
Sounds like in "fixing" the problem the AA have erased the fault code which would have given a clue about possible problem causes. Suggest you search on here for how to read fault codes and when it happens again try to get the code - armed with that there will be plenty of people who can h...

Re: Key stuck in ignition .. but not always
The interlock is I believe via a cable from the gear selector lever which sits on top of the engine so maybe that is also getting hotter and something is sticking/expanding etc?

Re: Key stuck in ignition .. but not always
I believe you need to be in Park to remove the key and there is a mechanical interlock. Could be the interlock cable and/or mechanism needs looking at?

I used Hammerite Smooth spray after wire brushing and it's been on for 5 years now.

Re: Clunk and not starting
Had something similar in an old Triumph Stag - turned out the starter ring on the flywheel had damaged teeth so the starter gear could not engage properly when the solenoid operates. You could try turning the engine over a bit by hand and see if the starter then engages. Also might be worth taking t...

Re: Help me translate diagnostic codes (v6 auto gearbox)
06 is an engine code and 60 is a gearbox code - you access engine codes by using the TEN pin and gearbox codes with the TAT pin - so you can tell which is which from which pin you connected to ground.

Re: 1996 Ford Freda 2.5TD WL-T Turbocharger Boost Issue
I had the same concern on mine, but it seems that the actuator will not move when revving with the van stationary and like you I found that the arm can be moved with pliers but it's very stiff. If you search on here I think there was a post where someone used a bike stirrup pump to pressurise the ho...

Re: AVA/mazdabongo.com Fiamma brackets
It's an AFT... On their website it says "NO damage to the gutter or vehicle at all: but also says later on "The brackets have two further holes at the bottom just above the gutter. Drill two pilot holes (3.5mm) and tighten down the stainless steel self tapping screws provided" So not ...

Hi all
has anyone fitted these - I can't quite work out the instructions. On the one hand it says no damage to the Bongo but it also talks about drilling holes and fitting self tapping screws which look like they screw into the roof?

Re: Save our local shops.....and Bongo Fury
Maybe we should be looking at how many people are reading and searching rather than new posts? I always start here when I have a question and problem and usually find the answer is already there - so I don't post to avoid annoying everyone with repeat questions. The knowledge and detail here is way ...
