Thanks for all the advice. after reading what everyone had to say, i think it seems like old fashioned water+antifreeze+regular maintenence is the way forward!

i am yet another newbie whose bongo has decided to pour its coolant all over my drive! i think it is from the water pump as the front of the block is wet and it seems to be coming from the 6 o'clock position on the water pump. the bongo is under warranty ...
