I have this awning too. I put it up for the first time camping a couple of weeks ago and struggled a little with the best way to connect it to the Bongo. I tried using the rod with a couple of clamps but it wasn't great.
I ended up pulling it tight over the bongo with a guy line. Another Bongo ...

I wish I had spotted the issue with the rear socket before. Looks like it's more of a repair than changing a fuse then.

Rear cigar lighter help.
My Inverter just went up in smoke and after changing the main fuse to the cigar lighters' circuit (thank god it tripped out), I notice the rear cigar lighter - where the inverter died - is still not working.
The little light is on but the socket does not work. Does is have it's own separate fuse ...

I drove mine for ages with clunking on both sides. The reality is this:
Drop links - when the joints go they clunk - if one catastrophically fails then you lose the benefit of the Anti roll bar - i.e. your van will roll/wallow on the bends more. You'll know when it's happened but it shouldn't be ...

Thanks for starting this thread as I have noticed much the same issue with my v6 Freda when going over bumps. It's still under warranty so I'm thinking of getting it checked out.
