Rusty Wheel Arches...cost and expert job?

I know, another person on about rusty wheel arches, but some advice would be appreciated. I need to get both rear and one front wheel arch done. Is this something I can get done by any bodyshop or should I be going to a specialist? What sort of price should I expect to pay? I am located in North ...

Main headlights don't work

I had a problem with my sliding door recently and took the fuses out to check them. Came to drive at night recently and I realised I could get side lights and main beam but not normal full headlights. Any ideas bongo experts? What do I do first?

Re: Sliding door won't shut

The fuse for the sliding doors is the 15 Amp shown below;
http://www.g8dhe.net/bwm/hotspots/x03-21.jpg

However another cause of the sliding door not operating is that it gets out of kilter if the supply to it is disconnected and the door is opened/closed, this can be cured by a violent bang to ...

Re: Sliding door won't shut

Thanks,

I have checked the fuse, it's all ok. I have taken the door panel off and tried to fish around in there but the door still won't close, the catch on the back of the door (opposite side to the handle) seems to be jammed shut and stopping the door from fully shutting.

Re: Sliding door won't shut

Thank you for your help so far...

I have checked the contacts on the door post and I am not getting any power reading at all?
Any more ideas of what to check next?
If it is a problem with a relay where are these located and how do I check them?

Sorry, I am a total novice!!

Thanks

Sliding door won't shut

Help please! Camped in a very wet field in Penzance last night and when I was ready to set off I realised the sliding door was ajar and will not close fully. The locking mechanism does not make the normal whirring noise and the door is ajar but does lock. The handle for the lock seems slack too. Any ...
