yes took backplate off - 2 x 14mm nut & bolt at4 o'clock and 7 o'clock / 1 x 24mm nut at top / brake cable & pipe off. Are those 3 fixings for the backplate all that secure the half shaft? Doesn't seem enough, was expecting to find more bolts behind backplate.

Hi all, I have an oil leak from my offside rear half shaft oil seal. I have removed the handbrake shoes and backplate but can't see what holds the half shaft in to replace the seal. Would welcome some advice. I have checked the axle breather is clear. I have also looked on the part finder at an ...

Hi all, can anybody help me with the torque settings for the camshaft sprocket and tensioner bolts on a 2.0 petrol registered in 1998.

I didn't think that the weight mattered, as long as it locks up the rollers then it must be efficient????
The lad I use is always spot on, all I can think is that he thought it was a 4x4 and his decelerometer was away for repair so he didn't test it.
I checked my V5 and there is no mention of any ...

Hi all, does anyone know the weight of a 1998 2.0 2wd petrol with an AFT as I was recently turned away from my MOT station as he did not have this info and his decelerometer was away being repaired. I am sure I have seen it somewhere on here but now I can't find it.
