That isn't what Germany wants to know John, it's what flavour of "Euro" (III, IV, V,....) it is.francophile1947 wrote:302gm/km

I have a feeling it isn't any flavour of Euro at all.
Re: emission sticker for Germany
The Bongo diesel engine does not meet the German Federal eligibility criteria and you can not take it in to any of the cities that have a low emissions zone.

Bet Lancasters don't comply either.

I doubt you'd get a Lancaster down a city street anyway with that wing span

But I'm OK cos I never bought a Bongo with a view to heading into town anyway.

thanks to all - I won't be heading for the German cities then!!
Re: emission sticker for Germany
I worried (a bit) about that issue before I headed off to Europe last year. Most European cities have pretty decent transport links in and out anyway - Venice, Ljubljana, Munich, Salzburg, etc all do anyway.
On one occasion we ended up heading South towards Munich, intending to go round it to get to a campsite on the other side - I thought I'd just keep going until the emissions zone started, then go around. Ended up going right through the centre. It was a Sunday, so not too busy anyway. Didn't see any signs to say I shouldn't have carried on, so Munich 'seems' OK.

Stick one of these on the front and one on the rear and you'll be sorted

Re: emission sticker for Germany
They are allowed in the cafe's, shops and restaurants, and can even pick their own meat from the butchers from what I saw when I lived there, so I reckon the buses are no expectionfeeblecat wrote:Do you know if dogs are allowed on buses/trains?
