Liverpool - is it always like this?

Post by munroman » Mon Feb 28, 2011 11:01 pm

Toady was my first ever visit to Liverpool, to meet a new client.

I have to say I was very impressed with the welcome I received.

Firstly, they had laid on HMS Liverpool to take care of my safety, but it had to sail for some spurious reason.
However, I was treated to a few resounding blasts by its foghorn, followed by 'You'll Never Walk Alone', and the 'Z Cars' theme, followed by a display by the fire tugs making large water jets, then finally a helicopter flypast.

Thanks, but there was no need to put on such a grand display, something less ostentatious will be fine for my next visit!

I also realised how far Muz's camera can see.

WE are very warm people us scousers Munroman, just like you Glasgowegians. We go around giving each other very special kisses just like you do in Glasgow. I am sure that you must have felt very much at home.

Beware of distraction techniques in place in Liverpool, its a bit like slight of hand that magicians use. Loads of distraction and before you realise your alloys are on ebay.

Even out of town look at the stunt the beatles pulled, everyone remembers crossing the zebra crossing picture, what you dont know is that was to stop a photographer at a crossing so the roadies could take his wheels off.....

Only joking, My gran was from Liverpool, some lovely people there, but wouldn't want to leave anything unattended around the docks.
