I am making some lets say top units or overhead units/cupboards above windows has anyone any ideas on how to fix them to the van please

often use the high level handgrip mounting positions as the main fixing and then additional screws are added in some designs I suspect to ensure stability at the ends.

Hello
I used the high level hand grips but avoided drilling any holes by using a 30mm × 1000mm strip of 90 decree aluminium . This I placed between the roof of the van and the floor of the aft. With my cupboards fixed by the hand grips it cannot move forward so the purpose of the bar is just to stop it dropping. Works perfectly without the need for any drilling.
