Exhaust Manifold Stud Repair in Kent

Post by eppiblue » Fri Oct 11, 2013 12:11 pm

I posted in the Kent specific forum first but didnt get a response.

Anyone know/trust anyone to do this work in Kent? Ive seen the trusted mechanics csv but interested to hear if of any first hand experience.

thanks

Sadly, I can't recommend a garage, but I would advise on ensuring they're aware of how to do it without disconnecting the coolant system. I had mine done recently and air was introduced into the system, which caused an overheat and a lot of hassle. Thankfully no head damage. There's a well put together thread on manifold stud repair if you search.
