Some piccies for y'all (as if you haven't seen enough already!). Bit random, some personal. Nice pic of the Pirate Ship though for those wanting a souvenir

North West Mafia enjoying a pretty evening. Hotpots Bongo in foreground
General Monty Bongo inspects the armoured Bongo battalions at The Battle of the Bash
Underneath the Bongo Tree Me Honey and Me.......
Our Neighbours, the Muzorewa Mob. Harry the Hillwalker joined us on the side of our camp.
River Severn looking like a scene from 'Deliverance' - when's that hand going to break the surface
Poppies and narrowboats at Stourport canal boat marina
Everything but the kitchen sink
The Pirate Ship setting off for Treasure Island. Is that tears or grins of delight on Mum and Dads face?

Serious note - it's a really really useful fantastic gas cooker that I got off ebay for £10. One of my best camping purchases.Bongoplod wrote:Nice photos Mike......out of interest,is that an oven next to your cooker,or a Dishwasher

Sorry I missed you Kirsty - I acually looked out for your wheels when I was leaving he field but couldn't spot them (blind as ever). Yor shows were fantastic+++
Sorry I missed you Bob, along with several others I'd wanted to say hello to. I guess that's how it goes when you get caught up in 'doing stff'. But never fear, Vera's Here.....
PS - I've tidied up pcs to add some captions and remove duplicates (photobcuket dumped on me half way through the upload leving me to work out what had already uploaded before trying again)

Seeing Mike's pics of the boats in Stourport made me think to ask if anybody else went in the little cafe right on the canal bridge near there?
It's called Goodnight Sweetheart Tea Rooms and it's full of assorted 40's themed bric-a-brac. Some really amazing stuff you won't have seen for decades (if at all for some of you).
It also serves a REAL pot of tea - Pot, Tea leaves, Strainer, milk in a jug the lot.
It was worth the £2.60 for a pot of tea for two just to browse around.

Scanner,
Every time we went past that cafe it was closed! Also no sign up stating when they were open. Did they open especially for you??
We just stood, noses pressed against the window........
