After all that i will do some bodywork, then Spring 2017 i will make my own inner roof panel, akin to the "catflap" style. A baby to have first though!!

Not quite sure what you're after, but try searching 'Catflap Conversion' or something similar.

Re: Internal roof board reversal?
... new Bongo and will probably do this again, as this one will be a rear conversion (we currently have a side conversion), and I far as I can tell the "catflap" is a rear access hatch which would mean climbing out on to the kitchen top ; )

Re: Memory foam mattress
Hi
We have just had one from these guys too:
http://www.comfortzleisure.co.uk
We can certainly recommend them. The memory foam matress we needed was made to suit our van as it has the catflap conversion and they could not have been more helpful .

Conversions in the North West
Does anyone know of a conversion company in the North West or surrounding areas who will do a mid conversion and a catflap type roof conversion? I have searched and am struggling to find much in the north at all. Can anyone offer any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: ceiling hatch conversion
The catflap is another great option that makes access to the roof much easier. 321 Away offer them very cheaply. It involves sawing the roof in half in some way and re-inforcing it. Named after me but umbongochris came up with the idea. Have a look under his profile for pics. If you can't find any, I ...
