Does anybody know where I can get a new auto gearbox from and what prices they are?

Wouldn't it be cheaper to get yours repaired? Or is it beyond redemption!

That's tough - hopefully somebody has been in the same position and will post a reply. Auto boxes are usually very reliable so I don't think many will have had them changed.
Does your garage say it's bust or have you actually tried an auto box specialist?

It is certainly unusual for an auto-box to be beyond repair. If you were to get a 'new' one, it would probably be a reconditioned one, which somebody has rebuilt.

The advantage is, of course, time. Take out the old one, in with the reconditioned one.

Then your old 'totally gone' one gets rebuilt for someone else to buy.

think the word is guidance
not compulsion

yep i read it 2 ways all the same result sorted
easiest way copy/paste try not to use 3rd party software if possible less cookies/ that way
do not take offence but it`s the way i will always be doing it

hope the long version helps in the search for this guy`s gearbox
