Sump Washer

Anyone know what size the copper sump washer is. I know I'll see it when I start but to save me then having to run to the nearest halfords to get a new one, run back and fit it before adding oil, then it would be good to know.
Apparantly you do get some types of washers that you can use again (by heating until toasting over the gas hob then plunging into cold water). Anyone know if the bongo has this type of washer.
Also as you have guessed not done this before and will be changing the filter next time I do it. Are these filters standard sizes or do I need a part number?
Could not find any of these answers using search. Thanks for any help.

Sump plug washer? Meh never bothered myself but the purists will say you should change it everytime. You'll need an old one for a pattern so I don't see a way around having to take the old one in for a match. You won't get a filter from Halfrauds, not listed. A more comprehensive motor factors could help but cheaper from ebay or Bongo Towers.

For the HUGE (heavy sarcasm intended) price of a copper ring go to your Mazda Dealer and get one.
Somebody on here must know what else it fits in the Mazda range if the Dealer doesn't.
BTW.
Every sump plug washer I have ever seen is a folded over job that is crushable. & I can assure you that once crushed, they stay that way and no amount of annealing will re-form them.
If you want to risk losing your oil and thereby wrecking you engine for want of a washer costing £1 tops, that's your lookout.

Did mine recently. No washer when I removed sump plug (made removal hard a plug was on v tight). Had bought one suitable for a Vauxhall from Halfords in the hope it would be right, and it was.

Did mine last week, there was no ring on the old one I took off, which is probably why it had been tightened so much!
My new one came with a washer taped to the side.
I got all three filters and washers for just under £30 delivered

I know this doesn't help you with sizing one, but maybe the company can sell you a washer on it's own.

I always just rap a bit of ptfe plumbers tape around the thread and old washer. Never had any problems and I've done a lot of oil changes in my time. . . .
