Bongo's temperature guage went up and stayed up. A bit of liquid in the engine compartment. No other symptoms. AA man said probably dodgy thermostat. Do all you clever people agree?
Thanks!

He's gonna love you.
Remember to explain that there is a rigid 'bleeding' system he must follow when refilling with coolant and he will love you even more.
Put 'bleed coolant' in 'search' to see more.
Happy New Year.

Make sure he gets the full guidance notes on refilling coolant curlew as it is v. specific about how it should be done, and it is important for the Bongo or else it may overheat and cause a lot of damage

I agree fully, check thermostat,anti-freeze quality and strength, radiator for crud, and all hoses for pinprick leaks, only noticable when engine running, and you must do the bleeding-it is crucial just a thought make sure waterpump is operating o.k.
