I have looked at the fact sheets but I am still unsure of any problem.I drove down to a friends house about a mile away and all the way there the hold light flashed,no perticular order just on and off,When I got to my friends house,I trurned the bongo off then back on again and the light stopped flashiing, and latter on when I got in to go home still no more fashing, should I be concerned?

We had exactly this last week (our speedo also didn't work at the time) and once we stopped and restarted it has been fine since - both no flash and speedo working. Reading up, we came to the conclusion that it was the wiring for the speedo which was chipped when she went through her UK paperwork test in the summer.
Not saying we were right as we are not experts..

The auto box will operate in default mode whilst the light flashes, this might not be noticable on a short journey but is a pain for a longer one! There are a number of causes for the flashing hold light so it is worth getting it investigated as it is a "warning signal". I had an intermittant fault on mine which was unlitmately traced to the potentiometer but I would not rush to replace that component as it could be one of ten fault codes, page 89 of the manual. A competent auto electrician or auto box specialist should be able to read the fault code.

Just been out to get the xmas food from a local farmer, and all gears worked ok,but the fuel gauge read empty for about 4 miles then read a third empty, where it should be,so I am hoping it might be a wiring problem and nothing major and we get away ok

I forgot to say that I did the earth on the fuel sender about 3 months ago so I dont think that is the problem

I have heard the cause could be one of the wires to the "chip", this may make the speedo erratic and therefore the gearbox does not know what is going on and shouts help in the only way it knows! Lets hope it is nice and simple, good luck.

Have a close look at the order in which it flashes.....it should repeat itself, and once identified you have the fault!!!
There is fact sheet in the members area!!! (open to all at the mo!)
