How do I remove the cover to the interior fluorescent light?

Got a new tube to put in, dont want ot damage the cover getting it off. Cant see any screws. Do I just pull, or squeeze sides and pull or wot!?!

i wonder if you can get green tubes for the light? (to match the colour of my bongo) i think it would make cool mood lighting....

I think you can. Blue, green and red if I'm not mistaken. I'm seeing my supplier for a lunch time pint so I'll check.

If you want a coloured light effect without buying a new bulb, try to get hold of some theatrical lighting "gel". This is available from several sources includng theatrical suppliers like Stagecraft or disco gear suppliers. You can usually get a free swatch book that has samples of dozens of different colours so you can the one that suits. Once you've got hold of a sheet, simply cut it to size & fit iniside the clear lense.
