Hello all - I am pleased to just join this community after purchasing my first bongo and single mum. I’ve had her a week and noticed she has a slight leak underneath that is oily but doesn’t smell like perils from investigating further today, it looks like a seal that needs to be replaced, maybe the power steering fluid - I don’t know!
Any ideas? Also, where I can buy the seal from and where I can do to get it replaced, I live in south London. Many thanks!

Welcome aboard!
You don't say which vehicle engine type you have bought, diesel, 2l petrol or V6 petrol, however leaks can come from many sources! You have engine coolant, water based and pressurised when at operating temperature, you can see the level by opening the bonnet then looking at the de-gassing tank in front of the passenger position, it is a sealed container with a cap and vent on the top DO NOT OPEN when its heated it will be under pressure!! It has markings to show the right level, only open and fill when cold.
Then there is engine oil, which has a dip stick under the passenger seat.
The gearbox also has DEXRON III oil again a dipstick under the drives seat.
There is also brake fluid, power steering fluid etc.

Bongos are largish, heavy vehicles and not that easy to casually access the engine compartment. There is also a large under-engine protective tray that can make finding the source of leaks difficult. Would think you'd be best taking her in for a service in a good garage, preferably a Bongo specialist.
