Breakdown Insurance

Just a heads up to people.
I have always regarded 2gether as a Bongo savvy company and over the years have had insurance and breakdown cover with them on and off.
Yesterday warning lights came on my dashboard and as I was near my son’s house drove round there.
I turned off the engine then it wouldn’t start again.
Conversations with Julian,my mechanic, diagnosed the alternator.
I called 2gether,my current breakdown cover,or so I thought, wanting them to get Bongy home, only to be told that I wasn’t covered because it’s a campervan!!!
I have old paperwork from them stating campervan on it but suddenly when I need their help they are unaware of it.
I was told it was listed on my policy in the exceptions.
I eventually found it on page 24 of 29.
So be aware.
Make sure you reiterate that your Bongo is a campervan when using 2gether or go elsewhere, which is what I will be doing.
