Questions regarding plastic battery shield

A couple of months ago I found this bit of plastic loose under the bonnet.

It took me a while to realise that it's the shield that sits between the battery and the rear of the plastic radiator guard. The two screws/bolts that hold it in place are long gone, I guess they could have been for years.

You can see the location in this image, not my Bongo just one I found online:

Does anyone know how important it is? I guess it protects the battery from some of the heat coming off the radiator? I wasn't too fussed by it being missing but I had a battery fitted last week and it got me thinking. Also, does anyone know the correct size bolts I need to hold it in place and where I can get some? I've been having a Google but I'm not sure the correct phrase to search for.

Thanks in advance!

Its more related to the engine air intake, its referred to as the air intake baffle https://www.lushprojects.com/bongoparts ... no=.html#2
it stops the incoming air stream bypassing the air intake itself, it mounts to the surround and blocks the air from going down past the battery.

Thanks a lot for the info and the link g8dhe. Really useful. I'll try and get the 13-209 rivets so I can fasten it back on.

Yer there Scrivets, much the same style as hold lots of the plastic bits in place, cheap enough on eBay as packs, some assorted sizes;
