V6 2.5. Petrol, How do you set the tickover?

Current issue is that when you come to a stop in D or R the tickover drops too low, then it hunts a bit and settles.

If you add an electrical load (lights or heated screen) it’s all absolutely fine so it looks like if I lift the tickover a touch it’ll not be a problem.

If you go from N to D tickover is a bit low causing fittings to chatter.

I saw something suggesting it’s the big screw on the driver’s side at the back above the inlet manifold. Tried a turn each way and that made no difference so put it back.

Had a new distributor and rotor arm too so maybe try shifting that a few degrees each way to see if it makes things better or worse.

Anyone know how to set tickover?

The engine manual has 4-5 pages covering the various parts that affect the idle speed, and a further 3-4 pages covering the Air Adjust Screw, some of which if I remember correctly requires you to put a link in the diagnostic socket to stop the ECU adjusting things behind your back! You really need the manual if your going to adjust it correctly.

From the shop https://bongoland.co.uk/product/bongo-w ... lumes-1-2/ or there are other suppliers who stock it as well.
