Glow Plugs!

I'm at the tidiouse task of replacing my plugs once again as the 2nd one from the right is faulty ( all 4 were brand new )

I now have 4 101mm plugs fromazdabongo.com and was wondering if I can change them again without having to remove the metal bit in the center that hold the gear shifter and Handbreak lever!!!!

It seems to be a simple enough process once you know what your doing, but I'm concerned about loosing the tiny nuts from the top of the rail........

What is the best way for me to attack this and be able to remain calm throughout?????
