Bongo Fury

Managed to lock myself out of the bongo miles away from home with no accessible tools, key in ignition, radio playing and phone sat on the dash!!

Tried to cut out the drivers quarterlight but obviously it shattered into a million pieces so now need to replace it and the rubber trim.


Anyone got a how-to for replacing the glass and any tips on where to source a replacement. I have seen a couple on eBay but not sure if they are year dependent for shape/tint etc.

Ps will be obtaining an additional spare key and hiding it somewhere on the outside of the van now I know you can easily lock yourself out.

There's an easier way of breaking in to a Bongo but I won't post it on here!

The quarter light glass size is the same for all models of Bongo but the tints may be different. You should be able to obtain one from a specialist Bongo breakers but I suspect you will have to visit them as glass can not be posted. Try these guys:
