Roof bars for roof tent

Hi all,

Just looking to get the thought of people who have used a roof tent, like a tentbox, with the Bongo and what roof bars you used.

I don’t know of anyone doing this, but are you looking at a tin top or AFT?

No expert, but I would take advice from the tent supplier.

What you are looking at should fit, maybe 4 would spread the load, 2 might be ok?

I used paddy hopkirk heavy duty commercial, plenty of room above the roof and the bars are long enough for the wide bongo roof.

I’ve tried searching on here, does anyone know the roof weight limit for the tin top?
