On the Bongo…

2000 2.0 petrol

Bit of a weird one, wipers don’t seem to work on intermittent, fine on speeds 2 and 3

Don’t think rear de-mister works

Temperature gauge doesn’t come on, goes to 11 o clock position, then drops down, quite erratic (I was driving it at around freezing temperatures last night)

The light for D on the gear display on the dash doesn’t work

Everything else is fine, are all the above controlled by the same circuitry?

I thought perhaps the fault might be with the stalk on the wiper issue, washers and rear wipers both work ok

No all different circuits! The only common thing would be battery, you might have a loose battery connection.
Things like a single light not working is most likely a blown bulb, especially the "D" lamp as its powered on all the time your driving!
Temperature gauge display is from a sensor at the front of the engine single wire sensor, not uncommon for these to get knocked and damaged during maintenance and the rivet that holds the tag in place on the top of the sensor becomes loose.

It had a service at the end of November, not driven it since then so maybe been knocked

The garage (ADS Bedminster) said they checked the battery condition during servicing so maybe not fully retightened
