Getting access…..

Post by TheLongRoad » Tue Dec 06, 2022 6:13 pm

Does anyone know if you can remove the rear speakers and get access to the forward edge of the internal rear wheel arch? I’m wanting to spray some Lanoguard type product in there to protect the inner arch.
I can see how I can remove the rear light cluster to get at the rear edge of the arches. I’ve a full side conversion and can just about see the speaker behind the unit.

Any other suggestions for getting access to those inner parts would be appreciated. Thanks team.

The speakers are welded on plastic standoff's to the actual plastic trim, I don't recall there being any access to the insides of the wheel arches at all.

Might be teaching egg sucking, but you can get an endescope which plugs into a smart phone.

Give you a look down inside the ashtray apertures.
