Just came across HVO yesterday through work, which is apparently a drop in replacement for diesel. 90% reduction in co2 emissions for a (currently) 10% increase in price.
Has anyone tried this in their bongo?
What about low emission zones etc?

Low Emission Zones are based on the testing information from the manufacturer, not on you choice of fuel you put in.
What colour label does this appear on the pump on the forecourts never seen anything other than the usual 3 labels in the the UK ?

I'm not sure it's available to the public at forecourts as of yet but it is available commerically if you have your own tanks in a depot for example.
The Irish postal service are using it as a trial and reporting 90% reduction in CO2 versus DERV. I'm not sure if it's just the newer spec diesels that can run with in unmodified or if it will be the same for our old Bongos!

I had to Google HVO. Bet it doesn’t have road tax or something on it hence not available at forecourts. If it works in any diesel I’m surprised it’s not been made available- bit like E10 has been inflicted on us.

This could be a gamechanger for old diesel units like ours if it becomes fairly standard!
