Bongo Selling Tips

Post by hugsjugs » Mon Aug 08, 2022 11:17 am

Sadly the time has come to move on from owning a Bongo and we will be selling ours in the next few weeks. Does anyone have any tips on how to sell a bongo? For convenience, we like the idea of selling to a campervan dealer as it saves time and hassle and I accept that will mean a lower price. However, I don't want to sell for stupid money. Does anyone know of any good places to sell (northwest of Eng, near Manchester)? Or are there any good websites where people buying understand what they're looking for?

Also, we have no idea what to ask for in terms of price. We have an N reg bongo, 145,229KM (although MOT certificate says miles) on the clock. Mechanically it's good. There is a side conversion installed and we have replaced the freetop motors recently too. What ballpark price range would you suggest (I know there are many factors that will lower or raise the price).

Any tips gratefully received.
