Basically, an Anti-lock Braking Sensor transmits the speed of a wheel, enabling the amount of braking force applied to the wheel, to be automatically adjusted.
If the ABS warning light is illuminated on the dash display, one or more of the sensors may be faulty.
Don't worry, the Bongo brakes will still operate when the ABS light is on. But it will fail MOT if the light is on.
A new ABS sensor is not cheap. Bongo owners have adapted other cheaper sensors to fit the Bongo.
