UPDATE: Campsite is open 12 - 30 September. £12 a night. I tried to organise a discount code but it gets far too complicated for a £2pn discount!

There's no toilets or showers. You must have your own facilities - even if only a toilet tent!

Tap and tank only. Fabulous walks within and from the Deer Park but no buses to and from Ledbury. Just under 3 miles to walk to Ledbury over the hill and possible to walk a circular route to avoid a linear walk. Fantastic pub with lunches in Ledbury - Prince of Wales. Fishing is complimentary for campers. Brilliant views of the Castle and valley. If there's a wedding on at the Castle, we get a free firework display (usually). Half price entry to the Castle for campers.

When you book via the website, you'll be given the gate code to enter the Deer Park campsite. Note it's not the entrance opposite the Castle but further up the main road towards Hollybush (away from Ledbury). About 200 yards on the left.

We usually park up in the second field on the left in the middle of the horseshoe track. I'm aiming to be there on the Thursday.

This will be a chilled meet, no loud music please. Firepits above ground usually allowed (depending on weather). Remember your fire blanket to place underneath to protect the grass.

What about the weekend before? 16 - 19? Not too late to change the dates. Only told Nancy & Roly and they're holding off booking while I try to get a discount code.

Been a bit hectic at work with system testing plus the stress of the Spanish wedding (both now thankfully over)! Feel very drained now. I didn't even get dressed yesterday! Just lounged in front of the TV - dogs were not impressed!

I've heard from Charlotte at Eastnor re rally rate. We can have £10 a night (organiser free) provided we collect the money and Charlotte invoices us after the event (subject to 10+).

I think we just forget the rally rate and leave it that everyone books online at £12 a night? Agree?

Did you check dates? I've done nothing about changing anything from the last weekend yet.

Sadly the first w/e is too close to departure for our Yorkshire trip so we will have to miss this year.

Regarding the discount, nowt to do with me if we’re not going, but it is much easier if peeps book themselves.

The main problem comes if you finish up with 9 units and have already collected the tenners. Peeps won't be happy if you go round for an extra 2 quid a night and I have had a right job trying to get one or two to cough up for the Sunday night when the decided to stay on.
