It is with sadness that we have to report the passing of lifetime member Helen Green aged 72. Helen, who was a club member for 17 years was awarded lifetime membership for her detailed knowledge of Bongo paint, and for helping to organise the meeting in Bulgaria, where she lived, in 2011.
She will be missed by all who met her, either in the flesh or in cyberspace. Such a lovely lady.

Re: Helen Green RIP
Very sad news, RIP Helen. Very helpful on the forum... will be missed, I took a good tip about using fully synth thinner
oils in the winter 5w/30 in there at the moment, due out in a few weeks. The engine does feel super responsive (feel like low resistance oil over the moving parts) and the lower viscosity at start protects faster in the cold. Thanks again Helen.

Indeed, whilst I never met her in person we chatted regularly on Messenger. RIP Helen.

Re: Helen Green RIP
I came onto the forum today just to apologise for being such an infrequent visitor these days. I am shocked and saddened to read of Helen's passing - I had no idea and had corresponded with her only recently (I think, my memory is not good!) on 'the other Bongo comms channel'. Helen was an absolute star and an incredibly talented Bongo fettler - I had some great dialogues with her over the years (yea but...no but..your ball etc) on Matters Bongo. I will miss her very much (we all will) and I send lots of love to her nearest and dearest and to Helen herself, wherever she is resting peacefully (if Helen knows how to do such a thing, God bless her).
RIP Helen Green - a shining star in our little Bongo world xxx

Re: Helen Green RIP
It's so sad, she had such zest for life, enthusiasm for all things Bongo, knowledge of many subjects and was a great listener. We will miss her. I'm so glad to be able to add that her two very much loved GSDs have been rehomed.
