Happy fuel times!

I did the "advance plunger" bellhouse and plate seal today, following Dandys thread and using the nice squidgy green O rings.
This is the most advanced mechanical thing I've done, apart from a power steering pump on a van a few years ago.
It went very well, if not slowly, largely because I was terrified of dropping stuff in silly places! Plus huge learning curve.
Happy to say that the difference is immediate, feels like a different vehicle now all the fuel is going where its meant to :D

Bonus advantage in that I was granted permission to take it to work, so whilst it was 4°C, raining and windy, I was indoors with a big heater on!

Onwards to the next thing to sort!

Doing anything under cover beats messing around outside in this weather, I spent about an hour going over the van electrics outside today and couldn't feel my fingers when I got back indoors the wind was cutting here on the coast 50 mile up the road from York.

Wouldn't have liked doing yours or mine in the weather we've had this weekend.
Might only be a sheet metal shop (there's a lot of big machinery behind me from that pic) but certainly serves well enough for messing on with cars!

I've got a garage but the pop top prevents the bongo getting in, it was bloomin cold.
