2L petrol bongo won't start

What's the MPG like? Can I use chip fat and veggie oil? What about LPG?

2L petrol bongo won't start

Post by Bongo_unchained » Tue Dec 28, 2021 4:38 pm

Hello, looking for a bit of advice with my bongo. It's been fine until out of nowhere it suddenly won't start as of a couple of days ago. I've checked battery (and recharged it after running it down!!), checked fuses, distributor looks OK. Took one spark plug out to check it was sparking OK and seems fine. Now thinking it must be fuel or compression issue, but wondered if there was an obvious thing to look for? I'm no mechanic but can find my way around an engine :D

Try starting it up in the dark, any HT lead / distributor issues are easier to see.
