Bongo Fury

HELP PLEASE We have a 2001 Automatic 2 Litre Friendee Mazda Bongo AFT only been away in it 4 times since bought earlier this year. We have lost our keys (inc. House, Garage and Bongo) There was only 1 key to the Bongo when we bought it and have said we must get another one cut!!! bit late now:( The key only unlocked the whole van by using it in the Drivers door and was obviously the ignition key as well. We have looked to see if there was a spare under the van by the spare wheel but no luck. All our paperwork to the Van is in it as well! how stupid are we. We live in Suffolk any ideas of what to do?

Rather than describe the process in detail for ANYONE to read who happens along - its public remember! Look towards the top "green" heading line and the "letter" symbol should have a mark on it to indicate a message waiting for you

Hope you get it sorted....this is a great reminder for others, like me, who also only have one key, to go and get one cut as a spare!

And if you're out with friend/partner make sure they also have a key with them.

Mrs B doesn't drive, but if she gets back to Bongy first she can get in, and if mine goes missing…

Well! Friend you should have made a copykey when you had the chance. 24/7 locksmith london would made it for you

You should have a PM look on the top green bar right-hand side for mail symbol!

Help! I have the same issue with losing the only key. I have my central locking fob so can lock and unlock the van at least. Any guidance as to what to do to get my van back on the road would be greatly appreciated! I’m located about 45mins from Norwich.

You have a Personal Mail PM look for the icon top right. But please get extra keys cut, one for each person who travels and a spare somewhere accessible and safe!

The previous owner was kind enough to write a 5 digit key code which I hope is the correct one to get a key cut and not to a radio code! Just need to find someone who can cut a key from a serial number now to see if I’m in luck ….

The key number is a 5 digit code between 10100 - 12283
The key number is also stamped on the door lock barrels if you wanted to confirm this.
If it looks like you have the key number i may be able to help you.
